SAN JOSE CA, August 31, 08:00 AM PST : Nagarro Inc has been selected as the technology partner for the migration of 7-
Technologies' flagship product IGSS to Windows Vista. Denmark-based 7-Technologies develops software solutions for industrial plants and utilities. IGSS is a SCADA system used for monitoring and controlling industrial processes. "A product like IGSS has thousands of installations and is widely used across the globe – from breweries to cruise ships. Its migration to Windows Vista will certainly draw wide attention, internationally,” says Managing Director, Nagarro. “Nagarro brings the required sharp technical minds, a deep business understanding of the product and a zero-tolerance approach towards quality to the table," he adds.
"The porting of IGSS to the .NET platform will be one of the most comprehensive development projects at 7T during the next couple of years," says Jens Løppenthien, Managing Director of 7-Technologies. According to Løppenthien, 7-Technologies is looking at a development project of approximately 200 man-months. “We have been very careful in the selection of an external software house. We have focused primarily on the ability to deliver and maintain a highly competent development team. And the ability to map out a reliable time schedule," adds Løppenthien.
The open communication culture and a team of deeply experienced and dedicated engineers who 'live and breathe' IGSS on the client's side render Nagarro confident that this migration will generate synergies between the two companies for the benefit of both sides. Kicking off this project fortifies Nagarro's European presence and the commitment to serve clients through long-term, quality-oriented and sustainable business relationships.
